This structured path begins with Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF), progresses to Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC), and culminates in the ICAgile Expert (ICE-AC) certification.

Each step builds essential skills in facilitation, professional coaching, mentoring, and teaching. Agile coaches are equipped to lead teams through agile transformations, manage conflict, and foster high-performing environments that align with agile values and principles.

Since 2011, the Agile Coaching discipline has grown significantly, establishing a common language and standardizing core competencies. This shared understanding benefits both agile practitioners and organizations by creating clear pathways for development and hiring.

The Agile Coaching Track differentiates agile coaching from consulting and other advisory roles, emphasizing the importance of facilitation, professional coaching skills, and mentorship.

However, while classroom learning is valuable, it is not enough to achieve mastery. True agile coaching expertise requires practice, reflection, and continuous professional growth. Agile coaches must develop the ability to address real-world challenges, overcome organizational impediments, and drive agile transformation at scale.
