So let’s say we have a business, their business model describes the rationale for how they create value, but at the heart of that model. Is the operating model. This is the actual system they should use to fulfill the business models objectives. And it’s not a one size fits all type of deal here.
First, we have a centralized model where decisions are coming from the top. Of course, there’s also a decentralized model where decisions are spread throughout the organization and there’s the customer centric model where operations are all about the customers.
